Mind Weave is an online mind-mapping and visual-thinking tool for brainstorming, study notes, research, project planning, decision-making, and creative work. It combines structured branches with a full Excalidraw whiteboard, so you can organise ideas and draw freely in one workspace.

Yes. The Local plan is free forever and lets you create one mind map in this browser profile without an account. Sign in for up to five local maps and up to 10 library items. The complete mind-mapping and Excalidraw canvas, local autosave, and .excalidraw import and export are included.

Local maps are stored in this browser profile on your device; clearing its site data or using another browser does not move them automatically. Pro adds private cloud storage and cross-device sync. A local map is uploaded only when you explicitly choose to sync it.

You can grow parent, child, and sibling branches; reorganise a map by dragging nodes; and style labelled connections with arrowheads, colours, dashes, and weights. The Excalidraw canvas also includes freehand drawing, shapes, text, images, libraries, themes, zoom, and export tools.

Yes. Mind Weave opens and exports standard .excalidraw files, and local maps can be downloaded as a ZIP. You can organise maps into groups. Pro also adds reusable cloud templates, private cloud export packages, trash recovery, and version history that you can preview and restore as a new map without overwriting the current one.

Yes. A Pro owner can create view or edit share links, or invite a specific email with read-only or editable access. Invited guests do not need a paid plan and can verify their email to join. Depending on the access granted, collaborators can view, edit in realtime, and use comments; the owner can change or revoke access.

Pro costs US$6 per month or US$54 per year. It includes everything in Local plus unlimited cloud maps and templates, private cloud storage, cross-device sync, view and edit share links, email invitations, guest editing and comments, map history, realtime collaboration, and Map with AI. You can cancel through the Stripe billing portal.

Map with AI turns a rough idea into an immediate, editable provisional map, then acts as a thinking coach. It can ask one useful question at a time, help you explore or focus, reveal gaps and assumptions, and refine a selected branch. It is a starting point for thinking, not a finished or authoritative answer.

Yes. AI questions are adaptive and capped at five, and Build it now is always available. Nodes distinguish your content from AI suggestions, assumptions, and open questions, and you can accept, edit, or dismiss suggestions. Add to map creates normal editable, undoable Excalidraw elements. Generation requires an active Pro account; inserting the result into a shared map separately requires editor access to that map.

When a Pro member uses Map with AI, the request sends the Map with AI conversation and the generated-map context needed for that turn, such as the focus question, prior AI map, or selected AI branch when present, to the configured AI provider. Ordinary local maps are not sent merely because they exist. Do not enter secrets you would not share with that provider.
